One day done

Well the first day is over. We have travelled 600 km to reach Griffith. We have seen lots of green countryside, a load of sheep, one ginormous merino and the biggest tennis racquet we have ever seen at the birth place of Yvonne Goolagong.

The day started early, boys were up early and ready to go.  Last minute packing and a flat battery outside our house meant we didn't get away until after 8. The drive saw jasper declaring that he loved our big adventure and Archie asking when we were going home.

Today we hit the road for another 6 hours to reach south australia (a first for Lisa and the kids) on the Murray river at Renmark.
