Cape Le Grande National Park, Esperance 13th - 16th July

The water was crystal clear and the sand was incredibly fine and pristine white. We walked on the beach, made sandballs and threw them at each other - Archie claims he won the sandball war, watched kangaroos as they nonchalantly foraged around our tent,.went on bush walks and swam (to the amazement of locals) and yep it was initially cold but after a short time we got used to it (probably because numbness set in and we couldn't feel the cold any more). It was however an amazing thrill to be swimming  in such a landscape in the middle of Winter.
